Cheers to Linda was created in memory of Linda Stepensky-Campochiaro, who passed away due to complications with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Vasculitis in September 2014. Linda’s passion to help others and her spirit for life is carried on by her family and friends. Their mission is to raise awareness for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis and Autoimmune Disease.

Long-terms goals for the Linda Stepensky-Campochiaro Foundation are to:

​

• Provide annual scholarships to graduating student from New Britain and Southington High Schools, who have shown integrity, kindness and acceptance as Linda always did.
   

• Contribute yearly to community organizations such as Warm The Children, Husky-Thon, Bread for Life, YMCA Camp Sloper, Friendship Center of New Britain, Southington Community Services and St. Jude. Nearly $17,000 has been donated to date.
   

• Raise much needed funds to provide patients and families with services while at Hartford Hospital through positive patient experiences.

A prayer tree was donated to Hartford Hospital by the Foundation recently
in honor of the ICU 10 staff who supported Linda during her journey.
